In order to remain up to date in her field, she is an active member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the American College of Radiology, the Society for Pediatric Radiology, the Society for Interventional Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Society for Pediatric Interventional Radiology, the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies, and the American Society for Laser and Medicine in Surgery.
Pediatric radiology is a subspecialty of radiology involving the imaging of fetuses, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. Many pediatric radiologists practice at children’s hospitals.
Currently calling Akron home, Dr. Bogan finds solace in the company of her two corgis, Asscher and Sophie.
