Graduating from the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies, Dr. Jones pursued his Medical Degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville. His medical training included an internship in internal medicine at the Baptist Hospitals in Birmingham, Alabama, followed by a residency in ophthalmology at the Eye Foundation Hospital in Birmingham.
Showcasing his commitment to excellence in the field, Dr. Jones is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). The ABO is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.
Furthermore, Dr. Jones proudly served his country as a United States Air Force veteran, fulfilling a four-year tenure as a flight surgeon in Charleston, South Carolina, and later overseas in Guam.
