FindaTopDoc is pleased to welcome Juliet Gawe Gaengan, RN, MSA, CPHQ to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the FindaTopDoc. Juliet Gawe Gaengan is an established Clinical Nurse Specialist who continues to provide exceptional care and support to her patients as a Senior Director of Quality Management with the NYC Health+Hospitals System. She is also affiliated with the Kirby Forensic Psychiatric Center. Featuring over three decades of experience in her field, she has a special expertise in quality management, forensic nursing, psychiatric nursing, infection prevention and control, and employee health.
Juliet’s career in nursing began in 1980, when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the Baguio General Hospital School of Nursing in Baguio City. Driven to further her knowledge, she went on to earn her Master of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration in 1989 from Central Michigan University. Since graduating, Juliet has completed a number of advanced training courses, and she is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality.
Juliet is committed to keeping current with the new developments and guidelines in her field, which she does as a professional member of the National Association of Healthcare Quality. She is a former member of the American Nurses Association, and she also serves as a summer bible camp nurse for young adults. With a passion for her work, she attributes her success to her excellent teachers and coaches, in particular a clinical nurse specialist who encouraged her to pursue higher education, and her former boss who provided her with limitless opportunities to learn and work independently. In her free time, Juliet enjoys hiking, walking, and reading.
