Dr. Michael Gieske, MD, a board certified family physician at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, is making waves in the field of lung cancer screening as the Medical Director at the St. Elizabeth Cancer Center in Edgewood, Kentucky.
Under his guidance, the lung cancer screening program at St. Elizabeth Healthcare has achieved remarkable success rates in early detection. He furthered his education by earning his Medical Degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1984, after which he completed his internship and residency in family medicine at St. Elizabeth Healthcare.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Gieske upholds the highest standards of care for his patients. He is an active member of prestigious organizations such as the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Association of Cancer Care Centers, the National Lung Cancer Round Table, the International Association of Lung Cancer, the Association of Thoracic Surgeons, the GO2 for Lung Cancer, The White Ribbon Project, reflecting his commitment to advancing healthcare practices and staying at the forefront of medical advancements.
