Jennifer Lee Rollins, MS, CGC, brings a wealth of compassion and three decades of expertise in prenatal genetic counseling to patients at the Pregnancy Specialty Center of Texas, where she provides direct and telemediated services throughout Houston and the surrounding communities.

Jennifer is a distinguished alumna of Texas A&M University and the University of South Carolina.  She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Genetic Counseling, holds a  Hemoglobinopathy Education and Counseling certification through the Texas Department of Health, and has trained and taught Perinatal Bereavement Management through Gundersen Lutheran Resolve Through Sharing Program. 

Throughout her career, Jennifer has played a vital role in academic and private practices throughout Texas, including Texas Maternal Fetal Medicine, P.A., Austin Perinatal Associates, P.A., Applied Genetics, Inc., and the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where she also held the title of Associate Professor.

In addition to her clinical efforts, Jennifer has been instrumental in advancing the role of genetic counselors in healthcare and increasing access to genetic counseling. She was a founding member of the Texas Society of Genetic Counselors, served as Chair of the Licensure Committee from 2002 to 2005, TSGC President from 2005 to 2009, and Past President from 2009 to 2011. Her dedication to the genetic counseling profession is further evident through her active participation in the National Society of Genetic Counselors and the American Society of Human Genetics.

Recognized for her skill and compassion, Jennifer was one of twelve finalists for the National Heart of Genetic Counseling Award in 2021 and has been named among the Best in Texas Healthcare Providers for 2024. Her involvement in academic publications and research projects, including collaborations with the National Institutes of Health on prenatal screening and stillbirth research, underscores her commitment to advancing the field.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jennifer is a dedicated member of the Friendswood community, where she resides with her family. Her decade of involvement in Texas A&M University’s Department of Speech Communications Alumni Advisory Board and ongoing participation in Girl Scouts USA, as a troop leader, community leader, and lifetime member showcases her commitment to nurturing the next generation.
