Dr. Allison J. Inga, a highly respected member of Animal Dermatology Clinic – Wayne in New Jersey, is renowned for her extensive experience and unwavering dedication to veterinary dermatology. Her profound passion for her work ensures a profound impact on the clinic and the well-being of the animals under her care.
Hailing from New York City, Dr. Inga embarked on a remarkable journey towards becoming a board certified veterinary dermatologist. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological and Chemical Sciences with a Biology concentration from Wells College before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. Following her graduation in 2014, she completed her clinical rotations at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in Athens, Georgia.
Driven by her fervor for dermatology, Dr. Inga underwent a one-year small animal rotating internship and then went on to gain invaluable experience in general practice and emergency medicine for two years. Her determination led her to specialize in dermatology, culminating in a rigorous three-year dermatology residency training program at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.
Dr. Inga’s relentless dedication to her profession was duly recognized when she achieved Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (DACVD) in 2020. She remains an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and is committed to staying abreast of advancements in veterinary dermatology through continuous education and training.
