Dr. Vilai is a board-certified pediatrician with a rich background in various healthcare settings, including academic institutions, private practices, and community health programs. His diverse roles as a pediatric/neonatal hospitalist, telemedicine provider for tribal communities, and medical director of several community health centers have shaped his holistic approach to healthcare delivery.
Academically, the doctor’s journey in medicine began at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, where he obtained his MD degree. His dedication to learning and excellence led him to complete his internship at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Pediatrics. Dr. Vilai then further honed his skills during his residency at the renowned MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, specializing in Pediatrics.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Vilai has demonstrated a strong commitment to medical education and community service. He is actively involved in developing the clinical curriculum for Roseman University’s upcoming undergraduate medical education program.
