A fellowship-trained cardiologist, Dr. Subramanya is a member of the esteemed Virtua Cardiology team at the William G. Rohrer Center in Voorhees, New Jersey. With his extensive training and commitment to patient care, he enhances the comprehensive cardiac services offered to adults aged 18 and older across New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
At Virtua Cardiology, patients benefit from an expert team that includes board-certified noninvasive and interventional cardiologists, alongside highly skilled nurse practitioners. Together, they provide a full spectrum of non-invasive and interventional cardiac services, including electrocardiograms, cardiac stress testing, echocardiograms, vascular ultrasounds, cardiac catheterization, and stenting.
Dr. Subramanya is not only committed to his clinical practice at the Virtua Cardiology – William G. Rohrer Center but is also affiliated with Virtua’s locations in Pennsauken and Lindenwold. His passion for education shines through as he trains residents from the Tatem Brown Family Medicine residency program and physician assistant students from the University of Health Sciences in Philadelphia. Additionally, he serves as faculty for the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, contributing to the advancement of the field.
Throughout his academic career, he earned his medical degree from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in India before relocating to the U.S. to further his training. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, where he also held an assistant professorship in Cardiology.
Recognized for his clinical excellence, Dr. Subramanya is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (FASNC) and is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His accolades include the Patient Safety Excellence Award™ (2018) and multiple recognitions as a Castle Connolly Top Doc and Philadelphia Magazine Top Doc.
