Eric R. Trottier, BS, NRP, NHICMETC, Launches FireMed, LLC to Elevate EMS and Healthcare Education

New Hampshire – In a significant development for the emergency medical services (EMS) and firefighting sectors, Eric R. Trottier, BS, NRP, NHICMETC, has launched FireMed, LLC, a company dedicated to providing high-quality EMS and healthcare education for Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs), paramedics, and firefighters. Founded in September 2023, FireMed aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of emergency responders, ultimately improving community health outcomes.
Eric’s extensive background in emergency services spans several years and highlights his commitment to education and service. His academic journey began at the University of Rhode Island, where he studied Emergency Medicine from 1994 to 1996. He then completed his Paramedic training at NH Technical Institute in 1998, followed by earning his Firefighter II Certification in Fire Science/Fire Fighting from the NH Fire Academy in 2001. Eric furthered his education by obtaining a Degree in Fire Administration from Columbia Southern University between 2014 and 2018, and he completed Critical Care Paramedic training at Kilgore College from 2014 to 2015.
Since May 2023, Eric has been a paramedic with Cataldo EMS, providing services across various locations. Additionally, he has worked as a paramedic with York Ambulance in York County, Maine since September 2021, and with York EMS since August 2020. His commitment to education is evident in his role as a clinical instructor at FireMed since September 2015, where he has been instrumental in training the next generation of emergency responders in various New Hampshire locations, including Hampton, Suncook, and Peterborough.
