With a passion for full family practice and a commitment to patient-centered care, Dr. Ragab brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the healthcare community.
Born and raised in central New York, Dr. Ragab’s journey in medicine began at Buffalo State College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Clinical Dietetics. She continued her education at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, obtaining her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree. Following her medical training, she completed her residency at Sisters of Charity Hospital, where she honed her skills in a variety of clinical settings.
Dr. Ragab’s credentials are impressive and reflect her dedication to her profession. She is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine, the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners, and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Additionally, she holds memberships in several prestigious organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association, the Minnesota Osteopathic Medical Society, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the American Dietetic Association. A lifelong caretaker, Dr. Ragab has been fascinated by the science of the human body since her seventh-grade biology class. Her enthusiasm for medicine is driven by her desire to help others. “Using my training and experiences through work and life enables me to provide the best care to each patient, every visit, every time,” she stated.
Before joining Johnson Memorial Health Services, Dr. Ragab served as an emergency department physician at CCM Health, where she made significant contributions to patient care. Her exemplary service has not gone unnoticed, as she was honored with a HealthCare Hero Award by Oswego County for her outstanding contributions to healthcare.
Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Ragab enjoys a fulfilling family life with her husband, Abdelfattah, and their four children: Mohamed, Amiram, Laila, and Yusuf. She also enjoys playing tennis and golf, walking, traveling, and engaging in wellness activities.
