Dr. Kundel’s wealth of experience encompasses a wide range of endocrine-related conditions, including thyroid disease, thyroid cancer, hyperthyroidism, and parathyroid disorders. Her expertise also extends to treating adrenal diseases and various soft tissue tumors. Known for her advanced surgical techniques, Dr. Kundel performs minimally invasive parathyroid surgery, laparoscopic adrenalectomy, and radiofrequency ablation of thyroid nodules, among others, ensuring that patients receive the most effective and least invasive treatments available.
A distinguished graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. Kundel completed her surgical residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens in 2008 and furthered her training with fellowships at Weill Cornell Medical Center and the Mayo Clinic. She holds board certification from the American Board of Surgery, affirming her adherence to the highest standards of surgical excellence.
