Dedicated to Teaching and Advancing Comprehensive Women’s Health through Innovative Practices and Compassionate Care

Tyler, Texas – UT Health East Texas is pleased to announce that Russell Stanley, DO, a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and urogynecologist, has joined the clinical faculty at UT Health East Texas Physicians Tyler – Obstetrics/Gynecology and UT Health Tyler, under the UT Tyler School of Medicine. He is skilled in both robotic and vaginal surgical techniques and provides comprehensive care for general and high-risk obstetrics. His collaborative approach ensures holistic treatment and improved patient outcomes by working alongside other specialists.

“My care philosophy revolves around five pillars: compassion, patient-centered care, building relationships, shared decision-making, and education. These principles guide me in developing personalized care plans, fostering trust with patients, and ensuring informed decisions while providing educational support,” said Dr. Stanley.

Growing up in Abilene, Texas, Dr. Stanley has deep roots in the state. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion from Baylor University and later a Master of Divinity Degree from Hardin-Simmons University while serving as a Baptist Pastor in a rural church.
