She went on to earn her Undergraduate Degree from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2004. Pursuing further specialization, she graduated from Pace University-Pleasantville/Briarcliff Campus with a focus on Nursing Education in 2009. Her relentless pursuit of knowledge culminated in her obtaining a PhD in Nursing Education from Capella University in 2017.

A member of several prestigious professional affiliations, including AALNC (American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants), ANA (American Nurses Association), ANA-NY (American Nurses Association-New York), PNA of Dutchess/Putnam Inc. (ANA-NY Organizational Affiliate), and AORN (Association of periOperative Registered Nurses), Dr. Zacharzuk-Marciano remains at the forefront of nursing education and practice. 

Her extensive experience includes roles such as Lead Surgical Services Nurse Educator, where she developed and delivered mandatory education for various surgical units, and oversight of the ANCC Provider Unit for a seven-hospital health system. Dr. Zacharzuk-Marciano has also made significant contributions to academic settings as an Assistant Professor of Nursing, where she supervised nursing students and developed complex curriculum assessments.

As a Clinical Nursing Practice expert, she has worked extensively in pre-surgical testing, same-day surgery, and post-anesthesia recovery, showcasing her proficiency in advanced patient monitoring and critical care medication administration. Her commitment to patient education underscores her holistic approach to nursing, ensuring patients are well-informed about their health care.
