Dr. Colleen Wallace, a board-certified pediatrician with over 13 years of extensive experience in diverse pediatric settings, is thrilled to announce the opening of Wonderland Pediatrics, a new primary care practice dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized healthcare to children and their families. Located in the heart of Baltimore, Wonderland Pediatrics aims to redefine pediatric care through a holistic, family-centered approach.
Dr. Wallace brings a wealth of experience to her new practice, having previously worked as a pediatric hospitalist at the University of Maryland BWMC. There, she developed critical skills while caring for newborns in the Level II nursery, attending deliveries, and covering the pediatric emergency room. Her time in this high-pressure environment honed her ability to provide comprehensive care in critical situations, a skill that will benefit her young patients at Wonderland Pediatrics.

In addition to her primary care experience, Dr. Wallace has gained valuable expertise in urgent care at one of the country’s largest pediatric urgent care centers. This role allowed her to refine her diagnostic abilities and treatment strategies for acute illnesses and injuries, ensuring that her patients receive timely and effective care.
Recognizing the growing need for specialized pediatric services, Dr. Wallace has pursued additional training in obesity medicine, evidence-based autism evaluations, and pediatric mental health. Collaborating with the Maryland Behavioral Health Integration in Primary Care program, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of the multifaceted challenges many children face today. Furthermore, her training in Collaborative problem-solving techniques equips her to effectively address challenging behaviors and promote positive outcomes for her patients.
When not providing care in her practice, Dr. Wallace enjoys spending quality time with her husband and four children, exploring the great outdoors, and indulging her love for reading and traveling with extended family. Her commitment to family values and community engagement is reflected in her practice philosophy.
