In 2007, Dr. Gnanaraj completed his internal medicine residency at Griffin Hospital, where he later excelled as Chief Resident, Faculty Hospitalist, and Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. His dedication to patient care earned him the “Physician of the Year” Award in 2012, and he has received multiple accolades for his commitment to teaching and mentoring residents.
After serving as a clinical instructor at Yale University School of Medicine, Dr. Gnanaraj completed his fellowship in cardiology at Bridgeport Hospital, an affiliate of Yale-New Haven Health. With over 25 years of medical experience, he is board-certified in multiple areas, including cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, echocardiography, peripheral vascular ultrasound, and nuclear cardiology. A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, he also contributes to the ACC Connecticut Chapter Council.
