Bonnie Stojadinovic, DNP, CPNP, AC-PC, is a distinguished Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a strong commitment to both acute and primary care. She plays a pivotal role in supporting the health and well-being of pediatric patients at Brenner Children’s Hospital, part of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Bonnie’s extensive educational background laid the foundation for her career in pediatric nursing. She began her journey with an Associate’s Degree from Lakeshore Technical College, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree from Silver Lake College. In 1999, she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Marquette University College of Nursing as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, and further advanced her expertise with a Post Master Certificate from Rush University in Pediatric Acute Care, and with a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus on Pediatric Acute Care Leadership, Management, and Administration at Rush University.
As an active member of several professional organizations, including the Association of Post Graduate APRN Programs, the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Bonnie stays at the forefront of pediatric nursing practices. Her specialization in acute care and pediatric nursing allows her to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to children facing serious health challenges while also addressing their overall health needs through primary care services.
Bonnie credits her success to the mentorship of Dr. Thomas Rice and the support of Beth Bolick, the Director of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program at Rush. Their guidance has been instrumental in her professional development. Additionally, Bonnie acknowledges the resilience and encouragement from her family as key factors that have propelled her forward in her career.
