Katha Maguire, PA, Owner and Founder of Complete Wellness Family Medicine in Fort Collins, has been a beacon of health and wellness in the Northern Colorado community for three decades. Thriving in the dynamic environment of family practice, Katha has dedicated her career to providing exceptional healthcare to patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. Her holistic approach emphasizes not only treating illnesses but also empowering patients to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Katha’s passion for medicine is evident in her commitment to addressing a wide range of health concerns, from mental health issues to physical injuries. Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Katha’s journey into the medical field began at Creighton University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science while also excelling as a Division I Women’s Soccer player. She advanced her education with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, graduating in December 1995. Following her education, Katha passed the National Commission for Certifying Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Examination, solidifying her qualifications to serve her community.
Outside of her professional life, Katha is a devoted mother of seven, including six handsome sons and one beautiful daughter, alongside her husband, John. She cherishes family time and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and paddleboarding.
Katha’s personal journey as a 15-year breast cancer survivor, diagnosed during her seventh pregnancy, has instilled in her a profound empathy for patients facing their own health challenges. This experience has also fueled her advocacy for families with loved ones who have Down syndrome and special needs, further highlighting her commitment to compassionate care.
