Mary Beth Patterson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a highly experienced Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with over 40 years in the field of nursing. Based in Juneau, Alaska, she serves in the Division of Public Health at the Alaska Department of Health, whose mission is to promote the health, well-being, and self-sufficiency of Alaskans.
Mary’s journey in healthcare began at Pensacola State College, where she earned her Associate of Science in Registered Nursing in 1985. Her commitment to lifelong learning propelled her to further her education, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2019. Recently, she worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Creekside Family Health Clinic from January to July 2023 and at Ketchikan Indian Community Tribal Health Clinic from July to November 2023, where she continued to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
In addition to her clinical practice, Mary is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), a professional organization dedicated to uniting nurse practitioners to advocate for their interests and enhance patient care.
