Born in Quito, Ecuador, and raised in Southwest Florida, Dr. Missura’s journey in dentistry began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida. He earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, followed by an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. His dedication to the field led him to complete an Endodontics Residency at Ft. Gordon, Georgia, while simultaneously earning a Master of Science Degree in Oral Biology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. During his studies, he conducted pioneering research in regenerative endodontics.
Dr. Missura proudly served as a soldier and dentist in the US Army for nine years, bringing a unique perspective to his practice. Since transitioning to private practice in 2019, he has been dedicated to providing outstanding endodontic care to the Leavenworth community.
Outside of his professional achievements, Dr. Missura is a devoted family man, married to his wonderful wife from the Atchison area, and is a proud father of three energetic sons. His passions extend beyond dentistry to include cooking, archery, outdoor activities, and music. A loyal fan of the UCF Knights, Kansas City Chiefs, and Kansas City Royals, Dr. Missura enjoys connecting with the community through shared interests and local events.
