Amanda’s educational journey began at Our Lady of Holy Cross College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She further advanced her knowledge by obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Healthcare Systems Management from Loyola University New Orleans. Driven by a dedication to impact healthcare on a systemic level, Amanda completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Healthcare Systems Leadership at Chamberlain University.

In addition to her work at Elite Nurses, Amanda has been a dedicated Registered Nurse since May 2008. During this time, she has held positions such as Instructor, RN Clinical Educator, and Assistant Professor, further showcasing her commitment to nursing education and leadership. In addition to her awards, Amanda has contributed to her field through scholarly articles and presentations. Her doctoral project, titled “In Adult Critical Care Patients, What Is the Impact of Implementing the Surface, Skin Inspection, Keep Moving, Incontinence, and Nutrition Care Bundle, Compared to Current Practice, on the Rate of Hospital-Acquired Pressure Injuries in Ten Weeks?” was presented at the Ochsner Health 15th Annual EBP/Nursing Research Conference in November 2024. Amanda also co-authored and presented two posters at the Ochsner Health 14th Annual EBP/Nursing Research Conference in October 2022, showcasing her commitment to advancing nursing practice through evidence-based research.
