Ms. Wiemiller’s journey in healthcare began with a Bachelor of Science in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin in 2001, followed by a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Finch University of Health Sciences in 2003. She launched her career at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she quickly rose to become the Chief Cardiothoracic Surgery PA. During her tenure, she also served as Program Director for the Postgraduate PA Surgery Program and held an adjunct faculty position, demonstrating her commitment to both patient care and PA education.
In 2004, Ms. Wiemiller began teaching at Marquette University Physician Assistant Program as adjunct faculty, eventually transitioning to a full-time role in 2009 as Program Director and Chair of the Marquette University PA Program. Notably, she directed the PA Studies program and the Postgraduate Emergency Medicine PA program in partnership with Aurora Health Care, blending clinical leadership with academic innovation.
Throughout her extensive career, Ms. Wiemiller has maintained a steadfast commitment to education, a commitment that continues as she transitions to her new leadership role at Advocate Health in 2025.
