Meet Catalina Dailey, MSN, FNP-C, CNE: Expert Dermatology Nurse Practitioner at Schweiger Dermatology Group

Catalina Dailey, MSN, FNP-C, CNE, a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, is proud to be a part of the esteemed team of providers at Schweiger Dermatology Group, serving patients from the Binghamton and Vestal offices.

Catalina brings a diverse and well-rounded background to her practice, having worked across multiple areas of healthcare, including as a technician in emergency medicine and oncology, and later as a registered nurse in both intensive care and inpatient mental health settings. These experiences not only sharpened her clinical skills but also deepened her ability to connect with patients on a personal level, regardless of their health journey.

Her passion for dermatology stems from a genuine desire to help patients feel confident in their skin. She views skin health as a vital part of overall well-being and is drawn to the unique blend of medicine, artistry, and long-term relationship-building that dermatology offers. Whether addressing chronic skin conditions or providing cosmetic treatments, Catalina’s approach is rooted in compassion, evidence-based care, and patient education.

Fluent in Spanish and proud of her Chilean heritage, Catalina values cultural sensitivity and strives to create an inclusive, welcoming environment for all patients. She specializes in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, with clinical interests including acne, rosacea, hair loss, and preventative aging. She holds certifications in Advanced Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler through Aesthetic Medical Educators Training, and completed Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Training Program to further hone her skills.

Catalina holds an Associate of Science from SUNY Broome Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and dual master’s degrees in Nursing Education and Family Nurse Practice from Binghamton University. She was honored with the Excellence in Nursing Education Award in 2024 for her commitment to advancing the profession through both practice and mentorship.

As a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Dermatology Nurses’ Association, Catalina stays up to date with current practices and innovations in dermatologic care. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and doting on her pets. Her journey through multiple specialties has shaped her into a compassionate, thoughtful, and skilled provider dedicated to delivering exceptional care in every interaction.
