Menchu, furthermore, gained additional education at Georgian College in Acute Complex Care for International Nurses in 2016 in Ontario, Canada. These educational experiences have equipped her with the knowledge and expertise necessary to excel in high-pressure environments, such as intensive care units (ICUs) and long-term care facilities.

During the Covid pandemic second round of nationwide crisis, Menchu dedicated her knowledge and service to be a Travel ICU nurse and worked for nine months out in New Mexico..
