Texas – Rebecca L. Barber, RN, a Registered Nurse, proudly showcases her commitment to nursing and patient care as she embarks on a new chapter at Lakeside Health and Rehabilitation. Since June 2025, Rebecca has been providing exemplary skilled nursing care in a rehabilitation setting, emphasizing patient recovery and long-term wellness. With a career spanning over 30 years in the healthcare sector, she has become a trusted advocate for her patients, recognized for her unwavering dedication and high-quality care.

Graduating with her Associate of Science in Registered Nursing from Trinity Valley Community College in 2002, Rebecca has built a robust career defined by compassion and expertise. At Lakeside Health and Rehabilitation, she collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care tailored to their individual needs. Her role is instrumental in fostering an environment that promotes recovery and supports holistic health.

In addition to her responsibilities at Lakeside, Rebecca has served as the Assistant Director of Nursing at Kemp Care Center Inc. since July 2023. In this leadership position, she oversees nursing operations and plays a crucial role in implementing specialized therapies, including Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) and cold laser treatments. These innovative therapies are not only beneficial for human patients but also extend to equine care, showcasing Rebecca’s commitment to advancing therapeutic options in nursing.

Moreover, since 2017, Rebecca has contributed her skills as a Triage Nurse for Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, where she assists with patient inquiries, supports field nurses, and reviews referrals to ensure clinical and insurance appropriateness. Her tenure at Canton Oaks Rehab & Nursing Home since April 2012 further emphasizes her extensive experience and dedication to patient advocacy.
