Arunit (Jessey) Chugh, MD, FAANS, is a distinguished board-certified neurosurgeon who joined the Center for Neurosciences in Tucson, Arizona, in 2023. He holds the esteemed position of Director of Neurovascular Surgery at the Center for Neurosciences/Tucson Medical Center, where he focuses on a range of complex conditions, including aneurysms, vascular malformations, strokes, carotid stenosis, brain tumors, skull base tumors, spinal oncology, and spinal degenerative diseases.
Dr. Chugh’s educational journey began with an Undergraduate Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He continued his studies at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, earning his Medical Degree. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and an active member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. His commitment to advancing medical knowledge is evident through his extensive research, with 20 peer-reviewed publications, over 20 podium and poster presentations, and a book chapter to his credit.
