Dr. Snyder is a world renowned expert on wound healing and is in high demand as an expert speaker. He is currently serving patients at the Jackson North Medical Center in North Miami Beach as part of the Barry University Foot and Ankle Institute.

Dr. Snyder is also a Professor & Director of Clinical Research at Barry University: School of Podiatric Medicine (Brand Research Center). Furthermore, he is an Adjunct Professor at Temple University: School of Podiatric Medicine as well as a Wound Care Course Lecturer at Healogics.  

Dr. Snyder is affiliated with several hospitals and medical centers, including Mount Sinai, the University of Miami, Broward Health Coral Springs, University Hospital & Medical Center, and Northwest Medical Center.

Dr. Snyder received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He also holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Wound Healing and Tissue Science from the Cardiff University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Jewish Memorial Hospital in New York.

Dr. Snyder is the immediate Past President and board member of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC). He is also the Past President and board member of the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM).

Dr. Snyder has published over 165 peer reviewed and journal articles and several book chapters.

He has been principal investigator on more than 50 randomized controlled trials

Dr. Snyder is a certified wound specialist by the ABWM.

Dr. Snyder is board-certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). The ABFAS strives to protect and improve the health and welfare of the public by advancing the art and science of foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Snyder is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS). The ACFAS is a professional society of more than 7,500 foot and ankle surgeons. Founded in 1942, the ACFAS seeks to promote the art and science of foot, ankle and related lower extremity surgery; address the concerns of foot and ankle surgeons; ensure superb patient care; and advance and improve standards of education and surgical skill.

Over the past decade, Dr. Snyder has been a regular presenter for the European Wound Management Association and at the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care.

Wound healing is a complex process in which the skin, and the tissues under it, repair themselves after injury. Wound specialists, like Dr. Snyder, are healthcare professionals who have been trained in the care and treatment of all types of wounds – acute and chronic.
