She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and remains a distinguished member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, the American Academy of Family Practice, the International Society of Travel Medicine, and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
For her wealth of experience and knowledge, Dr. Loewenstine is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, including the Regional Healthcare Provider “Spirit of Women” Award in 1999 presented by former first lady Barbara Bush. In addition to her work at Tristate, she is also an educator, presenting the latest medical research and associated training to Emergency Response Teams and First Responders. She attributes her success to her longstanding reputation of quality and attention to detail, as well as staying current in her field. In her free time, Dr. Loewenstine enjoys traveling, gardening, and photography.
