Executive Director Steven Lucarelli, CEO Provides Substance Abuse Treatment Services for the Northern California Area

Get to know founder and Executive Director of VOTC, Inc., one of northern California’s largest Substance Abuse Treatment providers.

Currently the Executive Director of VOTC, Inc. (d.b.a. Visions Of The Cross), Mr. Lucarelli, CADC-CS, received his educational training from the Association of Christian Alcohol and Drug Counselors, the Breining Institute, the California Association of Addiction Recovery Resources, and the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals. Along with his wife, Tammara, Mr. Lucarelli established VOTC, Inc. in 2000, and has nearly two decades of experience in his field. Visions Of The Cross’ areas of expertise include residential treatment, trauma-informed care, perinatal treatment, outpatient and intensive outpatient services, and providing sober living programs for men and women. According to Mr. Lucarelli, “The mission of Visions Of The Cross (VOTC, Inc.) is to empower each Client utilizing our uniquely designed education and counseling program as well as to bring healing and restoration to the Client’s life through our optional faith-based recovery track program.”

Visions, as it is commonly known, focuses on establishing client-centered treatment programs that will lead to recovery while providing careful monitoring, support, information, and educational services. Its goal is to graduate Clients who demonstrate: high levels of respect; the ability to set and maintain healthy and functional personal boundaries; high levels of integrity; responsibility for their roles in family and societal setting; and, healthy communication skills, which reflect their core values.
