The main role of registered nurses is to assist physicians in providing treatment to patients suffering from various medical conditions. While their primary responsibilities will involve caring for patients, their specific job duties will vary depending on their employers and specializations. While a majority of registered nurses work at hospitals they are not limited to that setting, they can also work in in clinics, schools, assisted living facilities, homes, schools and more. They must also stay up-to-date with new tools and technology to help provide the best care to patients and families, and the best support to doctors and other healthcare professionals. Registered nurses must possess excellent communication, emotional intelligence, teamwork, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Christine has been awarded the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nursing, which is an award given to exemplary nurses who have gone above and beyond to make a difference with their patients.
