Subsequently, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. Thereafter, she completed the General Practice Residency (GPR) program at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Following her education, Dr. Shiao completed two years training in an implant program at the New York University College of Dentistry. In addition, she spent two years continuing education in orthodontics training sponsored by IAO/AOS.
For the purpose of advancing her efforts, she remains a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Second District Dental Society, the New York State Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (Fellow), the International Association of Orthodontics, the New York Academy of Oral Rehabilitation, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
