Dr. Wasim graduated with his Medical Degree from the Dhaka Medical College in Bangladesh in 1987, giving him over three decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his Medical Degree he relocated to the United States and completed his internal medicine internship with the Grant Hospital of Chicago. He then completed his Internal Medicine Residency with the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Wasim is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He currently practices and is a partner at Eastside Internal Medicine, LLC and is affiliated with Piedmont Rockdale Hospital. He has been awarded the Patients Choice Award in 2015 and 2016.
