Throughout her academic career, Dr. Ganesa completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She continued in the Aggie tradition with medical school at Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine. Upon graduation, she went on to complete her internship, residency in internal medicine, and fellowship in medical oncology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Subsequent to her education, she earned board certification in internal medicine and medical oncology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Among her professional affiliations, Dr. Ganesa is a member of the Texas Medical Association, the Tarrant County Medical Society, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Texas Society of Clinical Oncology.
