She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Phoenix in 1996, followed by her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Mount St. Mary’s University in 2014.
In order to stay up to date in her field, she remains a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. It is the second-largest nursing organization in the world with approximately 135,000 active members.
