She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (FAAO).
Passionate about patient education, Dr. Karimi has contributed to ophthalmology newsletter publications. She has affiliations with various Kaiser Permanente hospitals throughout Southern California, and has appeared on several foreign language news programs in an effort to bring awareness to the important role of regular ophthalmic care in the early detection of eye disease and prevention of vision loss.
