Dr. Richard Berquist is an established Family Practitioner who continues to provide exceptional care and support to his patients within the CMP Care Center: South in Fresno, California. He is also affiliated with the Community Regional Medical Center and Community Medical Center-Clovis. Featuring over three decades of experience in his field, he has a special expertise in emergency medicine, stress, general medicine, and preventative medicine.

 

Dr. Berquist’s career in medicine began in 1983, when he graduated with his Medical Degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. After medical school, he completed his residency with UCSF-Fresno, and also earned her Master of Public Health Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.

 

Dr. Berquist is double board certified in Family Practice and Emergency Medicine, and he places a strong emphasis in preventive medicine, allowing his patients to maintain their good health. He is determined to enhance his patients’ quality of life, providing high quality, individualized care in order to ensure the most optimal results. Dr. Berquist is committed to keeping current with the new developments and guidelines in medicine, and when he is not assisting patients, he enjoys skiing, paddle boarding, yoga, meditation, and traveling.
