Expert Doctor of Nursing Practice, Cynthia E. Summerlin, DNP, MSN, RN, FNP-C will be Highlighted in FindaTopDoc

FindaTopDoc is pleased to welcome Cynthia E. Summerlin, DNP, MSN, RN, FNP-C to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the FindaTopDoc. Cynthia E. Summerlin is an established Doctor of Nursing Practice who continues to provide exceptional care and support to her patients within Affinis Hospice in Albany, Georgia. She is also affiliated with Albany State University. Featuring over three decades of experience in nursing, she has a special expertise in hospice care and nursing education.

Cynthia’s career in nursing began in 1988, when she graduated with her Nursing Degree from Darton State College. An advocate for pursuing further education, she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a Nurse Practitioner concentration at Albany State University. Thereafter, Cynthia earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from Georgia College & State University.

To keep current with the newest nursing developments, guidelines, and procedures, Cynthia maintains a professional membership with the Georgia Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association. Working within Affinis Hospice, she provides end of life care, counseling/bereavement, managing symptoms and medication, and care for her patients’ psychosocial and spiritual needs. She attributes her success to her strong faith, support from her family, and her commitment to quality care. In her free time, Cynthia enjoys relaxing with yoga.
