After earning his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, New York in 1984, Dr. Levin went on to complete his internship in internal medicine at Stamford Hospital, followed by his residency in anesthesiology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/BMHC/Montefiore Hospitals. Following this, he completed a dual fellowship in obstetric anesthesiology and trauma anesthesiology at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Center, as well as a fellowship in pain management at the New York University School of Medicine.
Noted for his achievements, he is board-certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology, whose mission is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology.
