Academically, Dr. Pope earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2001. She then completed her residencies in internal medicine and diagnostic radiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, and her fellowship in cardiac, pulmonary and abdominal imaging at the University of California at San Francisco.
Following her training, the doctor attained board certification in diagnostic radiology through the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
