With over 50 years of experience, Dr. Zyroff is a highly trained diagnostic radiologist specializing in interventional radiology and neuroradiology. In collaboration with Scripps Health, he is affiliated with Scripps Green Hospital, Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas, Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, and Scripps Mercy Hospital.
Scripps Health is a nonprofit health care system based in San Diego, California. The system includes five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, and treats a half-million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians. It also includes clinical research and medical education programs.

He completed his internship in internal medicine, his residency in diagnostic radiology, and his fellowship in neuroradiology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center in 1972, 1975, and 1978, respectively.
Before long, he attained board certification in diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology through the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
