Dr. Kline is the principal clinician and board-certified dermatologist at Kline Dermatology, where he specializes in melanoma research, diagnosis, and treatment as well as state-of-the-art aesthetic procedures.

Back in 1989, Dr. Kline graduated with his medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He participated in research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in pediatric neurosurgery and neurophysiology, receiving a Young Investigator Award from the National Institutes of Health. He then completed his training in dermatology at Cornell, Rockefeller University and Memorial Sloan-Kettering, and served as Chief Resident in Dermatology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering/Cornell University from 1989-1990. 

On the Clinical Board of The Melanoma Research Alliance, he was the honoree for The Melanoma Research Foundation. His strong education and unique set of skills that combine the fields of dermatology, Mohs surgery, dermatologic surgery, laser medicine and surgery allow him to provide his patients with the most desirable results.

As for his academic appointment, Dr. Kline serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Weill Cornell Medical College.

A Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), he is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD).  The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

His work and research have been the subject of stories on CBS, ABC and NBC, including an edition of “Extra: Game Changers.” He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, and on the HBO documentary “Cancer: Urgency to Emergency.” He has been on the speaker’s bureau for Janssen Pharmaceuticals for onychomycosis treatments. He has also published over ten articles, holds 23 organizational memberships, generated five research and concept proposals, and participated in over 14 grand rounds presentations. 

Now, he places his focus on developing radio-frequency, micro-needling with stem cells for anti-aging, non-invasive melanoma diagnosis, confocal microscopy and novel wart therapies with HPV vaccine and PDT.

In honor of his outstanding achievements, he was awarded the MRF Humanitarian Award in 2014.

Happily married, Dr. Kline and his wife raised three successful adult children in New York City. He is an advocate for the underserved, an avid traveler, hiker, and skier. He speaks both English and French.
