“I began my career as a Nurse Aide after caring for my grandparents at 16 years old. I loved the field, the satisfaction of watching people healing, and also being there in their time of need and loss. I chose to continue my education after being an RN for almost 12 years so I would be able to provide the care I would want my loved ones to have” she stated.
Continuously remaining up to date in her field, Jennifer is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and is involved with the Holy Spirit Catholic Church and School.
A Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN-C) is a nurse who holds certification and has obtained at least a master’s degree in nursing. APRNs may work across various healthcare settings, including hospitals, ambulatory clinics or long-term care facilities. They provide medical support and preventative care to patients, along with additional responsibilities of coordinating patient care and using specialized knowledge to manage complex patient conditions. APRNs can diagnose and treat as well as order and interpret tests and prescribe medications.
Happily married with two sons, Jennifer enjoys her family life, living in the country, hunting, fishing, and relaxing by the fire pit.
