After that, he worked as an attending urological surgeon in the Department of Microsurgery – Central National Institute of Surgery – and subsequently held the position of assistant professor of urology at the Central National Institute of Postgraduate Education. His research was in the field of “Reproductive Microsurgery in Males and Females.”
After arriving in the United States, Dr. Marinbakh graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. He then did his residency in surgery and urology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
Specializing in diseases of the urinary tract and the male reproductive system, he is board-certified in urology and by the American Board of Urology (ABU). The mission of the ABU is to act for the benefit of the public by establishing and maintaining standards of certification for urologists, and working with certified urologists to achieve lifelong learning to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe, and ethical urologic care.
Among his professional affiliations, Dr. Marinbakh is an active member of the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Urological Association.
