Following the completion of her medical degree, she pursued a three-year internal medicine residency at the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey (2007 – 2010). In 2012, she graduated from the infectious disease fellowship program at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine in College Station, Texas. Moreover, Dr. McGhie holds a Master of Public Health degree from The John Hopkins University in Maryland.
Subsequent to the completion of her training, tDr. McGhie acquired her board certification in internal medicine and the subspecialty of infectious disease medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine. The American Board of Internal Medicine is a 501 nonprofit, self-appointed physician-evaluation organization that certifies physicians practicing internal medicine and its subspecialties.
