Back in the early days of her academic career, Dr. Hoverson graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Dakota in 2011, and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2015. From 2015-2016, she completed a hospital-based general practice residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, a program which is well known for its emergent, pediatric and surgical services.
On a professional level, she is an active member of the American Dental Society, and the Minnesota Dental Association. She is very passionate about the advances in dentistry and attends yearly conferences such as Midwinter Meeting in Chicago, as well as continuing education classes throughout the country.

On a more personal note, Dr. Hoverson grew up on a farm in rural North Dakota. She spent many summers in the great state of Minnesota and is very happy to be living and working in Minneapolis. In her free time, she enjoys biking, pilates, and baking. She also loves spending time with her husband Dan and pet family.
