Well-versed in the field of orthopedic surgery, Dr. Todd is affiliated with Southern Orthopedic Specialists, tending to patients at their offices in New Orleans, Metairie, and Slidell, Louisiana. His clinical interests include revision spinal surgeries, scoliosis and deformity, as well as degenerative spinal conditions.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Todd earned his medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine in 2001. He received his orthopedic training at the University of Chicago Hospitals, and completed a fellowship in spinal and scoliosis surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery at Cornell University Medical Center.
As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.
Remaining up to date in his field, he is an active member of the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Orthopedic Association — Emerging Leaders Program, AO Spine, and the Mid-American Orthopedic Association.
Among his other roles, Dr. Todd is an attending physician at the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans, East Jefferson General Hospital, Ochsner Baptist, and Touro Infirmary. He also serves as a clinical faculty member of the Tulane University Department of Orthopedics, and is part of the Tulane Sports Medicine team.
