Paige is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with eight years of experience in the field of dermatology and eight years of experience in emergency medicine. She has extensive expertise in the areas of medical and cosmetic dermatology as well as emergent care.
As the Founder of On The Spot Dermatology in Glenview, Illinois, she takes pride in building relationships with her patients while focusing on their needs. She wants each patient to feel they received the allotted time needed for their care.
Academically, Paige graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing degree as an Advanced Practice Nurse attending North Park University.
Prior to opening On The Spot Dermatology, Paige worked as a nurse practitioner at a family dermatology office for eight years, before pursuing her dream of opening her own practice. While working with adults and children alike, she noticed a hole in the market for quick-care dermatology that is cost-effective and addresses patients’ less-complex and non-emergent needs. Instead of waiting weeks or even months to get an appointment with a dermatologist, she realized she could address concerns “on the spot”, and if additional care is needed, she can refer her patients to her wide network of dermatology partners.
Maintaining the highest levels of accreditation and pursuing ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in the medical field, Paige is a member of the American Nursing Credentialing Center and the Illinois society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She was also a member of the Illinois Society of Advanced Practice Nursing, the American Nurses Association, and the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.
A Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) holds board certification and provides continuing and comprehensive healthcare for the individual and family across all ages, genders, diseases, and body systems. FNPs maintain patient records, perform physical exams, order or perform diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, develop treatment plans, as well as treat acute and chronic illnesses, conditions, and injuries that fall under primary care.
Happily married with three young children, Paige and her family reside in Northbrook, Illinois. When she is not working, she is a mom for her three kids and loves her family time. When she is not ‘mom’, she loves to exercise, organize, decorate her house, and try to help others anyway she can.
