A passionate and empathetic optometrist, Dr. Rostankovski is the Owner & Operator of StarVision Optometry, PLLC in Pensacola, Florida. She prides herself in preventing long-term and permanent vision loss through early detection of disease and consistent management of eye disorders.

She has been involved in dry eye research, contact lens studies, and specializes in treating various dry eye disease and meibomian gland disorders.
Born and raised in Northwest, Indiana, Dr. Rostankovski earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Medical Health Sciences, with a minor in Biology and Psychology at Purdue University. While attending Purdue, she participated in extensive microbiology lab research involving genetics, working with Harvard Ph.D. graduate Dr. C. Das to find a link to, and potential cure for, Alzheimer’s disease.
Thereafter, Dr. Rostankovski earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry and relocated to Pensacola after she discovered the beautiful beach town during an optometric externship at the Gulf Coast VA.
With experience in providing exceptional eye care, she is board-certified in optometry by the American Board of Optometry (ABO). The mission of the ABO is to advance the quality of eye care by promoting excellence through education, assessment, practice and professionalism, for the benefit of all patients.
After being diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at 16 months old, Dr. Rostankovski began regular visits with specialists and ophthalmologists, and eventually found herself drawn to the medical profession. Her own experiences gave her an appreciation for a doctor’s listening skills, their bedside manner, and the importance of genuine compassion toward a patient’s care.
Known for her dedication to excellence in the optometric field, Dr. Rostankovski has a strong passion for her career and the most genuine concern for her patients’ needs. She works to provide exceptionally clear and comfortable vision for her patients, while using the most advanced technology to keep up with the latest revolutions in ocular health-care.
Optometry is a health care profession that involves examining the eyes and applicable visual systems for defects or abnormalities, as well as diagnosing and managing eye disease. Optometrists are healthcare professionals who provide primary eye care through comprehensive eye examinations to detect and treat various visual abnormalities and eye diseases. Being a regulated profession, an optometrist’s scope of practice may differ depending on the location.
