Furthering his training, he performed his internship in osteopathic categorical internal medicine at Valley Hospital Medical Center, his residency in internal medicine at LAC-USC Medical Center, and his fellowship in hematology-oncology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.
Passionate about his profession, Dr. Tang is board certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM). He has also shared his insights on cancer prevention and treatment topics through appearances on major news outlets, including ABC World News Tonight, Good Day LA on FOX11, NBC, and CBS.
In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Dr. Tang has received numerous awards, underscoring his dedication and excellence. Among his notable accolades are the President’s and Professional Achievement Awards at Western University, the Summer Research Fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, and Departmental Honors in MCDB at UCLA.
