Esteemed Acupuncturist, Alex Tatevian, DA, MD, FACSc will be Featured in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Association of HealthCare Professionals is pleased to welcome Alex Tatevian DA, MD, FACSc to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders In Healthcare. Alex Tatevian is an established Acupuncturist who continues to provide exceptional care and support to his patients within his own private practice, ACU WELL Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine located in Warwick, Rhode Island. Featuring over three decades of experience in his field, he has a special expertise in all facets of his work. Dr. Tatevian is a NCCAOM Board Certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology.

Dr. Tatevian earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree in 1978 from the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (RNRMU) in Moscow, Russia. Thereafter, he graduated with his Doctor of Acupuncture Degree from the Institute for Advanced Postgraduate Medical Education in 1982. Dr. Tatevian has served as a physician for the Russian National Olympic Teams, and scientific Antarctic Expeditions. Dr. Tatevian practiced acupuncture in medical setting at North Main  Primary Care Inc. in Providence, and became the first acupuncturist on staff at the Women and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island, with clinical privileges and full appointment granted.

Dr. Tatevian is recognized as a specialist in integrative medicine, combining acupuncture, manual therapy and state of the art treatments including laser acupuncture. He has conducted extensive research on the effectiveness of alternative medical therapies, herbology formulations, and laser in conjunction with acupuncture medicine. He was a principal researcher conducting a clinical crossover trial at the Women’s Oncology Program.

Dr. Tatevian has earned the coveted title of Fellow of Association of Clinical Scientists. He  serves as President and the Founder of the Foundation for Research in Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine (F.R.A.I.M.), and is credited for methodical work on refining definition of acupuncture. Moreover, he has served as President of the Rhode Island Society of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Tatevian attributes his success to making his patients healthier, serving their needs, and delivering clinical results. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and being outdoors.
