Dr. Ward’s journey began at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where she honed her skills in pediatrics and internal medicine. Her exceptional talents were further showcased during her tenure as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at Ohio State. Subsequently, she pursued specialized training in gastroenterology at the University of Colorado, where she excelled as Chief Gastroenterology Fellow.
Following her training, Dr. Ward co-owned and practiced in a private gastroenterology clinic, serving the communities of Broomfield, Boulder, and Denver counties. Here, she developed a deep-seated passion for addressing the unique digestive and rectal health challenges women face.
This realization led Dr. Ward to establish The Women’s Digestive Wellness Project and GutsyRx in Louisville, Colorado, where she provides comprehensive care, including endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures, to women patients suffering from digestive issues.
